Linux 2.6.36-rc5 Kernel Released; Fixes 14 Year Old Bug

The bug fixes in this fifth release candidate for the Linux 2.6.36 kernel are scattered throughout the different subsystems. For those running Linux on an ALPHA architecture system, there is a fix for a bug in the sigreturn tracing that has been around for 14 years but only now has been spotted and solved.
There should only be a couple more weeks of release candidates to come for Linux 2.6.36 before its officially released and then we can start getting excited for the Linux 2.6.37 kernel and its exciting new features: DisplayLink driver enhancements, improved desktop responsiveness, Broadcom's open-source driver, improved Radeon Evergreen DRM, and Intel Linux DRM improvements.
