GNOME Wayland Gets Last Minute Drag-n-Drop Improvements
GNOME's Mutter is getting ready for next week's planned GNOME 3.24.0 debut by overnight releasing Mutter 3.23.92.
Mutter 3.23.92 has a fair amount of changes for being the latest planned test release before GNOME 3.24 and the code now being in a freeze. Jumping out of the change-log is better drag-and-drop handling support on Wayland. This bug about broken Wayland DnD behavior has been fixed as well as fixing drag-and-drop between Qt5 and GTK3 applications when running on Wayland.
Mutter 3.23.92 also has some fixes around EGLOutput, fixing a crash when a window closes during alt-tab, a mouse input fix, improving the robustness of monitor EDID reading, support for tablet grouping, and other bug fixes. More details on the Mutter 3.23.92 changes via this commit.
GNOME 3.24 is expected for its official debut on 22 March.
