Mesa Has A New Release Manager

Emil Velikov has stepped up to be the new Mesa release manager to relieve Ian Romanick, the previous major release manager, and Carl Worth, the stable series release manager, from their duties. They agreed to let Emil take over so they can get back to focusing on their driver work rather than worrying about release processes, etc.
Emil wrote, "This will allow us to have timely releases, and will give Ian and Carl more time to focus on other parts of Mesa. My intent is to keep the original release process and clear-up any outstanding confusions regarding the estimated release dates and patch nominations. That does not mean that I won't welcome your feedback and suggestions."
The first release under Emil's control is the upcoming Mesa 10.3 that is currently going through a few weeks of release candidates ahead of its official availability in September. Mesa 10.3 represents around three months of development work and comes with many new features.
