LibreOffice 4.2 Brings OpenCL Calc, OOXML Improvements

A new stable, major release of the open-source LibreOffice suite is now available and with it comes several new and improved features.

LibreOffice 4.2 provides improved Microsoft OOXML interoperability, a new engine for the Calc spreadsheet, WIndows-specific improvements including better Windows 7/8 integration, a new expert configuration window, a new start screen, new icons, various bug-fixes, and other improvements. With the new LibreOffice Calc engine comes the OpenCL GPGPU support.
