NetBSD 6.0 Released Bringing Major Changes

NetBSD 6.0 supports thread-local storage, Logical Volume Manager (LVM) functionality, a re-written disk quota subsystem, new subsystems for handling flash devices and NAND controllers, an experimental CHFS file-system for flash devices, Multi-Protocol Label Switching protocol support, and a new packet filter.
Taking things even further, NetBSD 6.0 also introduces SMP support for Xen DomU kernels, initial suspend-and-resume support for Xen DomU, PCI pass-through support, a major re-work of the MIPS port for SMP and 64-bit (including Loongson CPU support), ARM Cortex-A8 support, initial support for the Raspberry Pi on NetBSD, and other various changes.
