SDL Now Supports Relative Mouse Mode On Wayland
With the latest SDL development code is support for the relative mouse mode when using this important library to games and other applications on Wayland.
There has been the relative pointer protocol for Wayland/Weston around for a few months now. The relative mouse mode is important for some games, particularly first person shooters and flight simulators for handling relative input rather than absolute coordinates.
The SDL2 Wayland back-end now has support for the relative mouse mode with the patch authored by Jonas Ã…dahl. The patch also supports pointer locking. Details here.
Good to see that arriving with Mir's SDL2 code supporting relative mouse mode since earlier this summer.
