Those interested in finding out what Fedora 14 may look like on the desktop, there is a collection of artwork concepts for this next Fedora release from Red Hat to be found on the Fedora Project Wiki. At the moment there are eight different concepts being shown.
Fedora 14 is codenamed Laughlin after going up against Fytnargin. Fedora 14 will ship with GNOME 3.0, X.Org 7.6 / X Server 1.9, GCC 4.5, and the Linux 2.6.35 (or potentially 2.6.36) kernel. Fedora 14 will also be using LZMA compression on the live images for a reduced size, the MeeGo Netbook UX 1.0 experience will be supported in Fedora 14, and systemd will replace SysVinit, among other changes. Some of the Fedora 14 features can be found on the Wiki.
