Unvanquished Alpha 25 Drops Its Old GL Renderer
The very promising Unvanquished open-source first person shooter is out with a new monthly release.
Unvanquished Alpha 25 is the new release and it drop its old OpenGL 1 renderer in favour of the OpenGL 3 renderer, improves in-game lighting, offers game-play improvements, re-compression work of files, and various other changes. This month also marks two years since the first Unvanquished release.
I ran into some problems last month in running Unvanquished on Ubuntu Linux for graphics card tests but I am hopeful it will work this month for new graphics card and driver benchmarking... Stay tuned.
More details on the new Unvanquished Alpha 25 release can be found via Unvanquished.net.
