Per-Session Display Configuration For Mir Has Landed
We know that a lot of Mir improvements/features should land this week with the Ubuntu 13.10 feature freeze being imminent. The first Bazaar commit this week to the Mir Display Server has added in support for per-session display configuration.
Mir finally has support now for display configuration changes that live only for the duration of a session where the client has focus and are not persistent. Canonical's Alexandros Frantzis committed the per-session display configuration support this morning where the configuration changes only last for as long as the client has focus.
The support is there with Bzr revision 984 on Launchpad.
In case you missed it, yesterday I also released new Intel XMir benchmarks from a Haswell-based System76 laptop running the latest Ubuntu 13.10 development packages.
