Debian Developer Resigns From The Systemd Maintainership Team
Just over one week ago Joey Hess resigned as a Debian developer with unhappy how the Linux distribution has evolved. This Sunday there's another resignation in the Debian camp, but it's just over maintainership of the systemd package.
Tollef Fog Heen has resigned from the pkg-systemd maintainer team. Tollef is resigning from the team over "the load of continued attacks." Debian's technical committee voted earlier this year to switch to the controversial systemd as the default init manager over Upstart or other alternatives.
Tollef's brief message was posted to the Debian mailing list.
Update (20:56 EST): Tollef has now provided additional insight via his personal blog.
