For those relying upon the Wine 2.0.x stable releases rather than the bi-weekly development releases, Wine 2.0.3 is now the latest stable version.

Wine 2.0.3 was released today to offer FreeType 2.8.1 compatibility fixes as well as a variety of bug fixes. There are 37 known bug fixes with this latest update.

Among the Wine 2.0.3 fixes are for issues with World of Warships/Planes/Tanks, Worms Armageddon, Guitar Pro 7, PHP, Adobe Premiere, Wargaming.net, and a variety of other games and applications.

The complete list of changes can be found via WineHQ.org.

Meanwhile, Wine 3.0 stable should be coming either at the end of the year or early 2018 as the next stable installment that stabilizes all of the changes introduced this year via the Wine 2.x development releases.
