Wayland Back-End For GTK+ Pushed Forward

With this Git commit by Intel's Kristian Høgsberg, the Wayland back-end has been pushed forward.
This is very good news for those interested in the Wayland Display Server as an alternative to the X.Org Server. One of the first places where Wayland may be deployed is with Intel's MeeGo Touch on their hardware. There's also Canonical interested in deploying Wayland in conjunction with their Unity Desktop where it may become an option as soon as Ubuntu 11.10. Up to this point there's been the Wayland back-end merged for the Clutter tool-kit, but proper GTK+ support for Wayland will be a big step forward. There's also work under-way in getting Qt to work properly with Wayland too.
More information on this Git commit when I land, as the Internet is too bloody slow.
