Intel generally updates their xf86-video-intel X.Org driver on a quarterly basis, but the 2.6 cycle has been running a bit behind schedule. Nevertheless, late last night the xf86-video-intel 2.6.0 driver was officially released.

This DDX driver brings support for DRI2, i965 XvMC support, SDVO LVDS support, and a plethora of bug-fixes. There are also TV output adjustments and tweaks to the UXA acceleration architecture.

The release announcement and source download link for xf86-video-intel 2.6.0 can be found on the X.Org mailing list.
