GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Announced: 3584 CUDA Cores, 11 GB vRAM, 11 Gbps
NVIDIA did their much anticipated unveiling last night at GDC of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card as "the fastest gaming GPU ever."
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is continuing to be based upon their Pascal architecture and is suited as their first 4K VR-Ready GPU. The GTX 1080 Ti has 3584 CUDA cores and has 11GB of video memory running at 11 Gbps. It's quite a powerful GPU. The GTX 1080 Ti pre-orders will begin on 2 March while the actual cards will begin shipping 10 March.
More details via NVIDIA's blog. Hopefully I'll be receiving one in the days ahead for Linux testing, should go great with Valve's new SteamVR beta on Linux.
