NVIDIA Updates Legacy Driver, 304.1210 Supports New Kernels
NVIDIA released the 304.1210 legacy Linux graphics driver this morning.
The NVIDIA 304.1210 Linux GPU driver supports newer versions of the Linux kernel (likely through at least Linux 3.13 and perhaps even 3.14 but that hasn't been confirmed yet). The only other change with the 304.1210 release is fixing a bug relating to the Xinerama and Resize and Rotate (RandR) X extensions.
This updated legacy driver can be found at NVIDIA.com. The 304 driver supports up through some of the GeForce 600 series, but is mainly intended for use with the GeForce 6 and GeForce 7 series with the GeForce 8 series and newer still being handled by their mainline driver that's now up to the 334 driver series.
