Freedreno Now Supports The A306 GPU
It didn't require much for Rob Clark, the lead developer of Freedreno, to enable the A306 GPU. Thanks to his other exisiting Adreno support code, the Adreno 306 of the MSM8916/APQ8016 SoC works pretty much out-of-the-box. Due to only a small change required to get things going, Rob has copied the enablement patch for getting into stable Mesa 10.4 and 10.5 series.
The Adreno 306 for the Snapdragon 410 has the same basic functionality of the other A3xx graphics processors like OpenGL ES 3.0 and OpenCL 1.1 EP. There's 24 ALUs on the A306 and the core clock speed is 450MHz.
