Threaded Input Has Been Revised Again For The X.Org Server

The work was started by Tiago Vignatti back in the Nokia days while last year Keith Packard began revising the threaded input code. This week after several months of silence, the latest threaded input patches have been published.
The latest patches still remove SIGIO for input, add a threaded mechanism for input, and begin using threaded input for the XFree86 DDX and KDrive.
Hopefully the patch review goes well and we'll finally see this code land in the mainline xorg-server. It's been six months since the X.Org Server 1.18.0 release but not yet any signs of the X.Org Server 1.19 release beginning to materialize in the near future.
