VirtualBox 7.1 Beta 2 Released For This Big Oracle Virtualization Update
Released last month was the VirtualBox 7.1 Beta 1 virtualization software release from Oracle. This new version is bringing a modernized GUI, Wayland clipboard sharing, and other improvements. Released yesterday was the second beta of this big VirtualBox update.
VirtualBox 7.1 is a big step forward for this Oracle virtualization software with its "modernized look and feel", upgraded Qt toolkit, OCI improvements, a new NAT engine with IPv6 support, ARM virtualization on macOS ARM hosts for Linux/BSD VMs, Wayland clipboard sharing, better performance for screen recording, and a number of other improvements.
With VirtualBox 7.1 Beta 2 there are various fixes that were collected over the past month of user testing with the prior beta. The 7.1 Beta 2 changes are noted in the VirtualBox.org forums though mostly copying over the changes originally introduced in the prior beta.
