AMD Radeon Software Crimson 15.12 For Linux Released

The Windows 15.12 update really didn't change much and it appears to be that way too on the Linux side. The release notes mention the lone fix as being "Ubuntu 15.10 fails when building the .deb packages." That's just a packaging-related change as a workaround on Ubuntu 15.10 since otherwise Catalyst / Radeon Software runs into a build issue with GCC 5, so instead it uses GCC 4.9.
There are no other changes listed for Radeon Software Crimson Edition 15.12 for Linux over last month's 15.11 release, which for Linux users was already a rather insignificant update compared to Catalyst 15.9 as it just renamed the driver, didn't ship any new control panel for Linux, it fixed a glxgears issue, and the performance was unchanged.
Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.xx should be much more interesting when it finally gets around to using the AMDGPU kernel driver, etc. If you want to download today's 15.12 Linux release, you can do so at AMD.com.
