Tungsten's Brian Paul has announced Mesa 7.1 RC4. This update includes a number of GLSL (GL Shading Language) fixes and addresses other issues that have come up in the weeks since Mesa 7.1 RC3 more than a month ago. Before anyone asks, this release doesn't include any OpenGL 3.0, GLSL 1.30 support. The source for this new test release can be found in the Mesa 3D Beta directory or checking out the latest source-code from git.
Brian Paul ends the Mesa 7.1 RC4 release announcement by saying "Hoping to wrap up 7.1 pretty soon..." Now hopefully Mesa 7.1 and X.Org 7.4 with X Server 1.5 will (finally) be released towards the end of August or early next month.
In addition, Brian Paul has also released Mesa 7.0.4 as a bug-fix release for Mesa 7.0. This release solely contains a few bug fixes and nothing more. This is also expected to be the latest release in the Mesa 7.0 series. This release announcement can be read here.
