OpenCL & SYCL Updated For Heterogeneous Parallel Programming

The updated OpenCL 2.0 and SYCL 1.2 specifications are for bettering these standards for heterogeneous parallel programming. The updated OpenCL 2.0 specification has clarifications around support for Blocks in OpenCL C, refinements to precision requirements for math in the fast math mode, clarification around flags for pipes, a new CL extension,and other clarifications.
SYCL is OpenCL's abstraction layer for leveraging C++ and OpenCL. The updated SYCL 1.2 provisional specification reflects the latest C++ programming advancements and direction.
