GitHub, Seagate, Western Digital & Others Join The Linux Foundation

Adapteva, GitHub, SanDisk, Seagate, and Western Digital are the latest organizations joining the Linux Foundation. Nearly all Phoronix readers should know GitHub along with storage companies Seagate and Western Digital. Adapteva is the start-up Parallella super-computing board.
These five companies join more than 200 other organizations that are supporting the Linux Foundation. The complete list of corporate members can be found via the LF membership page.
The Linux Foundation also announced this morning that Hitachi and NEC are joining the Linux Foundation's Core Infrastructure Initiative to fund high-profile open-source projects in need.
