PulseAudio 2.0 Runs On HURD, Has Jack Detection

Back in March I reported that PulseAudio 2.0 would be released very soon, but there were some last minute delays to now make for it being a mid-May release. While the release is late, hopefully there are less bugs and that it won't end up making it more notorious than this audio server once was in its early days.
As far as what's great about PulseAudio 2.0, there's now support for alternate sample rates, jack detection, echo cancellation (WebRTC canceller, automatic gain control, and drif compensation), virtual surround module, Xen para-virtualized audio-sink, fixed HURD support, A2DP decoder quality improvements.
Additional details on the PulseAudio 2.0 changes can be found via its FreeDesktop.org Wiki page.
