GStreamer Conference 2012 Videos
For those interested in GStreamer, Mesa, ALSA, or related Linux multimedia efforts, the videos from the GStreamer Conference are now available for viewing.
As already talked about in Preparing For The Release of Wayland 1.0 and Watch Intel Running Valve's L4D2 On Mesa Driver, the videos from this annual open-source multimedia conference were uploaded this week. The two-day event took place in San Diego at the end of August prior to the Linux Foundation's LinuxCon.
I was at the event and published the interesting information live. There's also my GStreamer 2012 Conference summary for those not wanting to dig through slides or watch hours of videos.
Ubicast recorded the videos from the event. As usual, they did a nice job and were able to tap into the direct audio feed. They also captured not only the speaker but also the slides too. Their Linux-based video system is quite interesting too (although they use the NVIDIA binary blob), plus they read Phoronix. Kudos to Christian Schaller as well for the good job at organizing the San Diego event.
The GStreamer Conference 2012 videos are available for viewing from the Ubicast GStreamer channel.
