Prost! 2012 X.Org Developers' Summit In Bavaria!

Nürnberg is set as the location of the 2012 X.Org Developers' Summit (XDS2012) and are looking at having the annual conference the following year be hosted in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin proposal was prepared by David Airlie for this annual summit/conference that brings together X.Org developers and others from around the world to collaborate on the future of Linux graphics, input, and related areas.
The wonderful town of Nürnberg.
Egbert and Luc trying Bud Light for the first time... At least Scheiße beer is much less of a concern for XDS2012 attendees.
Of course, I'm quite excited about XDS2012 Nürnberg for many reasons. If you don't know why, you obviously haven't read enough of my articles. At least for XDS2012 I won't be too out of place now wearing lederhosens and drinking a Maß of Bavarian beer, unlike at XDC2011 Chicago and other events.
Nürnberg is a wonderful city (though not quite the utopia that is Munich) and this should be a great 2012 Linux event. Besides the location, it should be a great event due to being organized by Luc, who has successfully organized the X@FOSDEM developer room and other events in the past for X.Org. He's also handling X@FOSDEM 2012 in Brussels for February.
Assuming XDC2012 doesn't collide with the annual Oktoberfest pilgrimage, and that I am still in control of Phoronix come next year, Phoronix Media will once sponsor a free beer event. Stay tuned for more details of XDS2012 Nürnberg.
Confirmation of the location can be found in the X.Org BoD IRC logs.
