DatArcs Is Aiming For Dynamically-Tuned, Self-Optimizing Linux Servers

DatArcs appears to be like an Intel PowerTOP on steroids but is self-learning and tunes the system by itself for maximum performance (or lower power use). The company says, "The 100’s of knobs in your system are tuned for your workload within hours, with no manual intervention...DatArcs Optimizer achieves the greatest speedups and greatest energy reductions on bare-metal servers that run native applications and containers. It can even tune within virtual machines."
So far DatArcs is in a closed-beta so there isn't easy access to it for testing. It also appears that it will be a closed-source, commercial product when launched. The company did share some basic results via the Phoronix Test Suite when running Apache and the results are promising.
CentOS 7 and Ubuntu 16.04 appear to be the supported operating systems so far for their closed-beta. Those interested in learning more can visit DatArcs.com.
