Apache IoTDB 1.0 Released As An "Internet of Things Database"

The newest Apache software project hitting the version 1.0 milestone is the Apache IoTDB as a time-series database focused on serving as a database to the Internet of Things (IoT).

Apache IoTDB 1.0 is an open-source time-series database focused on being lightweight, high performance, and usable features around IoT data collection, storage, and analysis. The Apache IoTDB can integrate with other Apache software projects like Spark and Hadoop.

With the Apache IoTDB 1.0 release there is a new software architecture that supports standalone and cluster modes of operation, various new management options, a massively parallel processing framework in the cluster code, support for CSV import/export, support for TsFile time-series import/export, UDF framework support, continuous query support, and a number of other new features for this v1.0 release.
