Timothy Arceri of Collabora has posted another big patch series for implementing another part of OpenGL 4 within Mesa.

The latest patch series by Arceri consists of 37 patches and are for adding xfb_* layout qualifiers and API support for querying them as part of the OpenGL 4.4 ARB_enhanced_layouts transform feedback layouts support.

The ARB_enhanced_layouts support is one of the big items still being tackled by Mesa developers that to date is only still partially implemented by the various hardware drivers. The remaining parts of ARB_enhanced_layouts is still being worked on by developers, which after it's all wrapped up will just leave ARB_clear_texture and ARB_query_buffer_object as needed by the Gallium3D drivers (except for NVC0 that already has them) before hitting OpenGL 4.4 while Intel's driver is blocked by just ARB_enhanced_layouts, ARB_query_buffer_object, and ARB_texture_stencil8.

More details on Timothy's latest patch series can be found via this Mesa-dev thread.
