VULKAN
Another week, another new Vulkan specification update.

Prior to the holiday weekend in the US, The Khronos Group published Vulkan 1.0.19. Like past weekly updates to this high performance graphics API, Vulkan 1.0.19 is mostly made up of modest clarifications and adjustments to the documentation. There are nine fixes for issues reported via GitHub, three fixes for issues reported internally, and two other changes.

Coming up quite quickly is SIGGRAPH 2016 at the end of July. At the event we are expecting a new version of the OpenGL specification to be released, but so far we've heard no official word whether any "Vulkan 1.1" release or equivalent will also be released.
