PyPy 5.1 Brings More Performance Improvements
For those looking at making Python code execute even faster, PyPy 5.1 is now available as one of the alternative Python interpreters.
PyPy 5.1 lowers the memory requirements by another 20% and has a warm-up time improvement by nearly 30%. PyPy 5.1 also adds full support for IBM s390x hardware, there is now support for Debian GNU kFreeBSD, other performance improvements, numpy enhancements, and a number of bug fixes.
