Lucas Rocha has announced GNOME 2.91.1, which is the first of several development snapshots leading up to the final GNOME 3.0 release next year. This is only the first development release so there's still bugs and lots of work to be tackled, but thanks to the extra six months of development time, there's already a fair amount of work done on Mutter, the GNOME Shell, Zeitgeist, and other GNOME 3.0 technologies.
Within the GNOME 2.91.1 release announcement are links to change-logs for the GNOME modules, including the platform and desktop areas.
