Mesa 10.6.0 Officially Released While Still Lacking OpenGL 4.0+ Compliance

Mesa's release manager, Emil Velikov, covered some of the newly-supported OpenGL extensions within the mailing list announcement.
The hope moving forward amongst users and developers is that OpenGL 4.0~4.2 and OpenGL ES 3.1 support will be achieved in the next few months so that by the time September rolls around the Mesa 10.7 release will be renamed to Mesa 11.0.
