GNOME 3.12 To Plug Into Facebook In New Ways

The next GNOME 3.12 development release (v3.11.3) is set for next week and so there's new GNOME 3.11.x packages being checked in for the release.
Arriving on Wednesday was GNOME Photos 3.11.3 and with this photo application for GNOME comes support for accessing photos on Facebook along with some unrelated bug-fixes.
GNOME Online Miners 3.11.3 has also arrived. GNOME Online Miners are crawlers of web-services for indexing your online content locally within the GNOME Tracker. With GNOME Online Miners 3.11.3, your Facebook account data is now being mined locally for usage by GNOME's Tracker.
Obviously if you're not comfortable with GNOME mining your account data on social networks for your local consumption, you can simply not log-in to your accounts with GNOME. Stay tuned for additional news items about other noteworthy GNOME 3.11.3 packages in the days ahead. Already thus far in the GNOME 3.11/3.12 cycle we have seen many changes land for this open-source desktop environment.
