Chris Wilson of Intel's Open-Source Technology Center continues his frequent release spree of xf86-video-intel X.Org driver updates.

On Sunday morning, Chris released the xf86-video-intel 2.20.6 driver update. This latest release comes just days after the earlier DDX driver update.

Chris personally made 32 changes for the 2.20.6 release, including a new Backlight override option, a serious bug-fix for Sandy/Ivy Bridge when mixing GPU/CPU operations on the same buffer, low frame-rates in Blobby Valley, and various other fixes. Many of the changes continue to be related to the SNA acceleration architecture too.
