Phoronix Is On Google+, Plus Other Information
At the request of many readers, Phoronix is now available on Google+.
If you're interested in adding Phoronix to your Google+ social circles, the page is available here. However, the Phoronix Google+ page is currently in its infancy and doesn't have much content or other information quite yet. Regardless, feel free to begin adding Phoronix on Google+.
For the other social networks, Phoronix has long been available on Facebook, Twitter, and Identi.ca. If you're a Twitter user, also be sure to add @MichaelLarabel on Twitter as that's where I'm usually tweeting early details, information on upcoming articles, and other bits of Linux/open-source/hardware news that doesn't make it onto Phoronix.com.
In other general housekeeping reminders, consider subscribing to Phoronix Premium to view full-length articles on a single page, view the web-site ad-free, and this goes on to directly supporting future Phoronix work, including Phoronix Test Suite / OpenBenchmarking.org work. PayPal tips are also graciously welcome if you like the Phoronix content, the forum community, or the Phoronix Test Suite / OpenBenchmarking.org software projects, etc. A huge thanks to all of you, even if you're just an AdBlock-free Phoronix reader.
There may also be some upcoming Phoronix Germany/Austria meet-ups. I'll be back in Germany/Austria the next few weeks and may organize some Phoronix events or just happy to sit down with Phoronix readers to chat about Linux and other matters over beers (with possibly interesting tech demos). Or even if you're part of a company/organization and would like to discuss the Phoronix Test Suite Linux benchmarking opportunities or any other matters.
Right now the agenda looks to be in Frankfurt/Darmstadt from 18 Nov through 23 Nov, 24 Nov in Nürnberg celebrating the openSUSE 12.1 release with SUSE and ex-SUSE (and RadeonHD) developers, 25 Nov through 30 Nov in Vienna, and 30 Nov through 2 Dec in Munich. I may also try to make it to the LinuxDay.at conference on 26 Nov in Dornbirn, Austria. Contact me or get me on Twitter for more details.
