Inkscape 1.4 Brings Numerous Enhancements To This Vector Graphics Editor

Inkscape 1.4 released on Sunday as the newest version of this cross-platform, open-source vector graphics editor.

Inkscape 1.4 introduces some new features and improves various existing functionality. Inkscape 1.4 is also important in making more preparations for the eventual transition to the GTK4 toolkit.

The Inkscape 1.4 release introduces a new filter gallery dialog, new Modular Grids functionality, the swatches dialog has been revamped, enhancements to the SVG font editor, a unified font browser, on-canvas handles are now customizable, and a variety of other changes.
