OPERATING SYSTEMS
Developers behind the Genode open-source operating system framework that uses a micro-kernel design have released their v22.11 update.

With Genode OS 22.11 they now support Intel Gen12 class graphics after porting over the latest graphics driver code from Linux and making changes to its Intel graphics multiplexer design. This is particularly good news for Genode's Sculpt OS general purpose operating system if wanting to enjoy accelerated graphics on the latest generation Intel hardware.

Genode OS 22.11 also has more work on PinePhone support, virtualization improvements for Arm and x86_64, configurable Intel HWP mode, various device driver improvements, bootloading over HTTP, and other additions.
