GTK+ 3.17.5 Brings Mir Improvements
GTK+ 3.17.5 has been released today as the newest version of the toolkit to coincide with GNOME 3.18 in just a few more months.
With GTK+ 3.17.5 there is support for CSS letter-spacing for labels and entries along with partial support for CSS text-decoration. The font handling in the toolkit also now supports per-widget font options and font maps.
As usual, there are more Wayland fixes/improvements with this GTK+ development version and this time around comes down to fixes for copy-paste and drag-and-drop, fix cursor handling in HiDPI, and other fixes.
The GTK+ Mir back-end also got some love this time around with several bug-fixes. There are various bug fixes and minor improvements scattered throughout for those using Mir on Ubuntu.
