Freedreno Gallium3D Now Supports OpenGL 3.1
The Freedreno Gallium3D driver as the community-based, open-source 3D driver for Qualcomm Adreno graphics hardware will have OpenGL 3.1 support with the upcoming Mesa 11.1 release.
Contributor Ilia Mirkin updated the documentation to confirm that OpenGL 3.1 support is there with Freedreno for the next Mesa release. The OpenGL 3.1 support is limited to Qualcomm's Adreno A3XX and A4XX hardware.
The Freedreno Gallium3D driver continues to be the most advanced, community-based, open-source ARM graphics driver that's also complemented by the MSM DRM driver that was spearheaded by Freedreno founder Rob Clark.
