AMD made good on their word and released the AMDGPU-PRO 16.30 Hybrid Linux Graphics Driver today.

AMDGPU-PRO 16.30 adds support for Polaris GPUs, namely the newly-launched Radeon RX 480. It's the 16.30 driver that I used for this morning's Radeon RX 480 Linux review.

Unfortunately, the release notes don't offer much information about any other changes with this new hybrid Linux driver update. This AMDGPU-PRO release also continues to be catered just towards Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

You can download AMDGPU-PRO 16.30 via AMD.com.
