Mesa 7.10, Mesa 7.9.1 Released To The Wild
Mesa 7.10 has been released!
This release of Mesa brings support for Intel's second-generation Core "Sandy Bridge" graphics, a new fragment shader back-end for i965-class hardware, support for new OpenGL extensions, and a variety of improvements, particularly when it comes to the Gallium3D drivers and state trackers. The Mesa 7.10 extension improvements affect GL_ARB_explicit_attrib_location, GL_ARB_texture_rg, GL_EXT_separate_shader_objects, and GL_NV_primitive_restart. See our Mesa 7.10 coverage for information on other changes and performance enhancements.
Mesa 7.9.1 has also been released at the same time as Mesa 7.10, which brings stability updates and bug-fixes for users of this older Mesa release.
