Adobe Offers Flash Player 11 Release Candidate

The first beta of Flash Player 11 came in July and was christened with mainline 64-bit support. The 32-bit and 64-bit Flash Player builds are now in sync for Windows and Linux. A month later was a second beta and now we're up to RC stage.
Besides mainline x86_64 architecture support, Adobe Flash Player 11 also exposes the Stage 3D API for providing Flash 3D support, a new audio compression method for telephony purposes, JPEG-XR support, H.264/AVC software encoding, vector printing support, and much more. Unfortunately it still lacks support for the VA-API video acceleration method, but is still limited to NVIDIA VDPAU and Broadcom Crystal HD.
