Linux 2.6.23-rc5 Kernel Released

LINUX KERNEL
With the Linux Kernel Summit coming up next week in Europe, Linus Torvalds has released the Linux 2.6.23-rc5 kernel. The fifth release candidate for Linux 2.6.23 should fix most of the regressions out there. Linus classified the Linux 2.6.23-rc5 release as "fixing a number of generally pretty small issues."
