KDE 3.5.5 Released

As was mentioned earlier this week that the fifth maintenance release for the K Desktop Environment was about to surface, today KDE 3.5.5 has been formally released. New in KDE 3.5.5 are notable improvements to Kopete. Some of these KDE messenger improvements are support for Adium themes, performance improvements, and better support for Yahoo and Jabber protocols. Also changed in KDE 3.5.5 is sudo in kdesu, numerous speed improvements, and KHTML (Konqueror's HTML) rendering improvements. CUPS 1.2 is also supported from KDEPrint as well as many language improvements in this release. More on KDE 3.5.5 can be found in the release announcement.
