Easy Mesa Projects To Start Working On GPU Drivers

Ian Romanick of Intel shared this week a Newbie Projects Wiki page and shared it via the Mesa-dev list.
Very frequently there's Linux developers who have no experience working on the software side of GPUs that are hoping to get involved and this is a very nice step with the detailed projects written up by Ian. Just recently as one of the examples of new Linux developers looking to become involved was this incident on our forums.
Among the small and straightforward "newbie" projects suggested by Ian Romanick include enabling ARB_map_buffer_alignment in all drivers, implementing the AMD_shader_trinary_minmax extension, and enabling the ARB_clear_buffer_object extension for all drivers. You need to obviously have some C development experience to get started, but if you do, check it out and join the Mesa development community!
