openSUSE 13.1 M4 Brings Ruby-Based YaST

Two months ago we wrote about a Ruby-based version of YaST being in development and now it's finally made its debut in the openSUSE world. YaST was formerly written in its own crusty YCP programming language but now it's been translated into Ruby.
Other changes to openSUSE 13.1 Milestone 4 include KDE Workspaces 4.11 RC2, GNOME Desktop 3.9.4, QEMU 1.6.0-rc1, LibreOffice 4.1, ModemManager 1.0.0, scons 2.3.0, and a host of other package updates and changes.
More details on the new openSUSE 13.1 Milestone 4 release can be found at news.opensuse.org. Up next will be openSUSE 13.1 Betas while the official release is still three months away.
