Sound Updates For Linux 3.20 Improve HP Laptops, Other Features
The sound changes for the Linux 3.20 kernel aren't too incredibly exciting but there's some improvements for HP laptops, support for some new audio hardware, and a variety of other changes.
Sound driver changes for the Linux 3.20 merge window include ALSA core clean-ups, some cleaning and simplifying of various sound drivers, hotkey and LED support for HP laptops with Realtek codecs, dock station support on HP laptops, Akai MPC Element USB audio support, enhanced timestamp handling for USB audio devices, and a variety of other fixes.
