COREBOOT
Topping off a lot of Google code landing in Coreboot in recent days for Chromebooks is support for another Google device and as part of that support for a Qualcomm SoC.

Google's "Gale" codenamed device is now added to Coreboot. This device is powered by a Qualcomm IPQ40XX SoC, which as a result also saw support for it enabled in Coreboot. Since yesterday has been a lot of other Gale-related code landing.

This "Gale" Chromebook powered by a Qualcomm SoC sounds quite interesting. As I don't pay too much attention to Chromebooks otherwise, is anyone aware if this device is in the market yet? I've heard rumors about a Snapdragon Chromebook for a while now, but don't seem to be able to find any currently in stock at popular online retailers.
