AMD has released AMDVLK 2021.Q1.4 as their newest snapshot of this open-source Radeon Vulkan driver for Linux systems.

AMDVLK 2021.Q1.4 is quite a small release with updating against the Vulkan 1.2.169 header files and then more performance tuning for the game Mad Max. That's it in terms of official changes.

One of the features we are still waiting to be enabled within the AMDVLK driver (and other Radeon Linux Vulkan drivers) is the Vulkan ray-tracing extensions for the Radeon RX 6000 series hardware.

This small AMDVLK Vulkan driver update can be downloaded in source form as well as pre-compiled Ubuntu and CentOS/RHEL binaries via GitHub.
