The EPYC 7Fx2 parts allow AMD Rome to better compete with Intel in the Numpy test for Python numerical computations.

Similarly with the common Python benchmark of PyBench, the 7Fx2 parts outperformed all but the Xeon Gold 6250 series.

With the PyPerformance Python benchmarks, the Intel Xeon processors maintained a tiny lead over the EPYC 7002 line-up.

The PHP single-threaded performance is another area where the high frequency EPYC 7Fx2 parts help close the gap with Intel Xeon but is still not quite there yet, but will be interesting to see with Zen 3 server performance.
